Rossi finally leaves Yamaha for Ducati (confirmed)

Nine times world champion Valentino Rossi finally leaves Yamaha for Ducati. The news is confirmed by Yamaha, Ducati & Rossi after weeks of speculation.

“I think that here in Yamaha my work is finished,” said Rossi. “The situation within Yamaha has changed a lot since 2004. Now the M1 is maybe the best bike in MotoGP, Yamaha have great riders, so it looks like they don’t need me any more.”

From next season onwards Rossi will be riding for his Home County motorcycle manufacturer DUCATI. Rossi has signed a two years contract with Ducati after riding for seven years for Yamaha.
